WHAT WE CAN DO

? Pets we prefer to look after: cats & dogs. ??
? Would consider caring for other smaller animals too. ????
? Feeding & general care of pets.
? Daily dog walks, as required.
? If your pet likes cuddles, we will happily provide them.
? Can send you photos & updates of your pets, if this is something you would like.
? General housekeeping - keep your home clean & tidy, bring in mail, taking bins in/out, etc.
? Light gardening - watering plants, etc

OUR EXPERIENCE

? Although relatively new to MindAHome with just a few house sits via the site so far, we are not new to house sitting. We have done many repeat house sits for family, friends and colleagues. We have taken care of cats, dogs and fish (such as koi) during these house sits.

? Regular/repeat house sits and doggy catch up walks for two gorgeous staffies (and of course their lovely family) we met via MindAHome at the end of 2023. Second house sit for them was a last minute 4 week house sit, and more booked for 2024.

? We have both grown up with pets. I (Jess) had dogs growing up - my cocker spaniel was my absolute best friend. We also had an aquarium and a pond filled with fish. Rob grew up with a multitude of cats over the years, as well as guinea pigs.

? Back in England we have 3 beautiful cats who we love dearly, but they stayed with their other human (Rob's mum). They honestly were (and still are) treated like kings and queens, usually eating better than we did. We have experience with administering them medicine, clipping their nails, brushing their teeth, fleaing and worming them.

? Stay tuned! The more opportunities we have to prove ourselves as great house and pet sitters, the more this section will grow.

WHO ARE WE?

We are a down-to-earth mid 30s couple from opposite sides of the world (Rob's an Englishman, I'm an Aussie).

??
We are at our happiest when we are out in nature; going on hikes, camping and exploring new places. In contrast to that we are also homebodies; we love to chill and relax indoors either watching movies or playing video games/card games/board games.

??
For the last 9 years we have been living in England, with most of 2022 spent travelling around the UK and Ireland in our campervan.

??
Landing back on Aussie soil in mid 2023 we are preparing to do similar down under - road tripping and exploring our beautiful land.

WHY DO WE WANT TO HOUSE-SIT?

Two main reasons - lifestyle and to get our pet fix!

1️⃣ Lifestyle
We plan to travel and camp around our beautiful state of Western Australia. It seems like the perfect mutually beneficial setup - people like you need your home and pets taken care of, whilst we would love the opportunity to have somewhere to base ourselves whilst exploring to make a change from living out of a tent!

2️⃣ Pet Fix!
Currently we don't have our own pets (not counting our kitties in England) and so we have plenty of love to share with your pets. We love all animals, especially cats and dogs, and so being able to hang out with some would be great.
