Non-smokers, quiet home bodies. I'm a mad keen gardener with Cert III in Horticulture, Noel likes to help by digging holes and lifting heavy things for me! We're just back from three years in Myanmar and ready for a calmer life closer to family in Perth, where we are now based.
Roses are my first love in the garden; the one pictured is Jude the Obscure, a stunning David Austen which I grew in Bunbury, such a faithful flowerer. I've been able to rehabilitate many old bushes back to their former glory with some corrective pruning and a good feed, and can also give them a mid-season day spa service and have them looking good for your return.
The last pets we had before going overseas were an assortment of chooks, which are wonderful backyard pets. One of the hens went clucky and she hatched some chicks for me which were lots of fun. The three pictured were from the first clutch; 2 roosters and Lizzie, a beautiful hen with her splendid couture coat. The big red rooster, Mr Darcy, went back to the farm where I got the eggs and carried on the breeding line. Gorgeous boy! Anyway, I could talk for hours about my chooks, but I won't bore you with that...
Also pictured is Koda the smooch, from our last sit. He's a teenager; a big bundle of energy and gangly legs, so it was pretty hard to get a good shot, but he was a real sweetie.
I love any animals, and cats seem to love Noel. (They always go to him first, I try not to take it personally!) We're happy to care for any animals, big or small, and will do our best to keep them to their routines, make them feel safe, and ensure they are happy and healthy upon your return.
We respect the boundaries of privacy and will care for your home, garden and furred/feathered family like they are our own.
