Hi there.

We are seasoned house and pet sitters. We have been looking afer people's homes and pets for a long time—since 2013. We have great reviews and are highly sort after.

We are a mature, reliable, and trustworthy couple who take pride in being genuinely caring, considerate, and respectful. We’re animal lovers, keen gardeners, house-proud, non-smokers, and non-drinkers.

We’ve previously completed house sits in Thailand, Italy, Adelaide, Sydney, Brisbane, Toowoomba, Bribie Island, and the Sunshine Coast.

We love meeting new people, exploring different places, and most of all, bonding with pets of all shapes and sizes. We bring a calm, nurturing energy that animals respond to well, and we truly enjoy their companionship.

Over the years, we’ve loved and cared for dogs, cats, birds, fish, turtles, hamsters, tadpoles, and frogs. We understand that pets are family, and their well-being comes first during a house sit. We take this responsibility seriously and always ensure they feel safe, loved, and comforted in your absence.

We treat every home we stay in as if it were our own. We’re clean, tidy, and respectful of your space, and we understand the importance of keeping both house and garden in excellent condition. (No parties here — we’re quiet, introverted types who love peaceful surroundings.)

We’re happy to stay in regular contact while you're away — by phone, email, or text, and we’re glad to send updates and photos of your pets so you can relax knowing they’re happy and well cared for.

SARAH & BEN, TOP CAMP, TOOWOOMBA (April '26)
Ren and David housesat for us while we were in Japan for 3.5 weeks in April 2026, caring for both our home and our 5 year old Spoodle, Reggie. Before their stay, they took the time to meet Reggie so he felt comfortable with them, and familiarised themselves with the quirks of the house.
Throughout their stay, they were exceptionally respectful of our home and gave Reggie more affection and attention than he’s ever experienced (which was already a lot). They checked in regularly, shared videos of Reggie playing in the yard, and asked thoughtful questions whenever needed to ensure everything ran smoothly. They fully respected Reggie’s routine so his adjustment to their stay was seamless.
A few days before we returned, we were alerted to a plumbing leak and, despite the late hour, they immediately went outside to locate the issue. They coordinated with the plumber the next day and handled the situation calmly and responsibly.
We returned to a spotless home - quite possibly cleaner than we’ve ever seen it! - and were greeted with some lovely gifts and flowers. If Reggie could talk, he’d have asked us to head back on holiday so his pampering house sitters could return.
We would happily recommend Ren and David to anyone seeking reliable, caring house sitters and would welcome them back anytime!

JENNY & JIM, HODGSON VALE, TOOWOOMBA (Feb '26)
We were very fortunate to have Ren and David house-sit and look after our pet dog, Harry, for just over 3 weeks. As soon as we met Ren and David, we felt comfortable in leaving our home and pet in their very capable hands. When we arrived home, the house was immaculate, the plants healthy, and Harry happy. Looking around, there were little knick-knacks and surprises that Ren and David had left, which brought smiles to our faces, including dinner for the night we arrived home. We were very thankful. Ren had kept us updated with messages every few days and photos of Harry, which reassured us that all was ok. We would highly recommend Ren and David. They are wonderful, honest people, and we look forward to having them house-sit again for us in the future.

The house and dog were extremely well cared for. Great communication while we were away. Even groceries and flowers were left to make us feel welcomed home. And a large Evie poster on the fridge. Very professional and competent sitters. Very highly recommended.

MIKE & JENNI, BRIBIE ISLAND (Dec ‘25) Ren and David were the perfect house sitters for us. They made an effort to meet us before their stay, and we knew straight away our house and dogs were in excellent hands. They communicated just the right amount while we were away, providing photos of the dogs and letting us know all was well.
They went out of their way to take extra care of the dogs during the storms we had when away. We came home to a beautifully clean house, mown lawn, healthy plants, and two very happy, well-cared-for doggies. There were even some thoughtful treats left for us. We hope to catch up with Ren and David when they revisit our area, and we would love to have them stay again. We definitely recommend Ren and David to anyone considering them for a house/pet minding position.

We were extremely fortunate to have Ren and David look after our three cats and home for us for just over two weeks. They are so considerate, kind, and tidy. We came home to an even cleaner house than we’d left! And our fur babies were extremely happy in their care. We can’t thank them enough and would jump at the chance to have them sit again.

Every so often you have an experience that sets the benchmark—and for me, that was Ren and David. As a first-time user of housesitters, I couldn’t have asked for more. They cared for my two beautiful Ragdoll cats and my home for six weeks with such love and attention that I returned to find my cats calm, content, and clearly very happy.

My house was spotless, and to my surprise, Ren had even prepared dinner and lunch for the following day, along with essentials and thoughtful little treats to welcome me home. As I walked through the house, I kept discovering personal touches that showed the genuine care they had put into everything.

If you are lucky enough to find Ren and David available—don’t hesitate. They’ve set the bar incredibly high, and I’m so grateful for the most reassuring and wonderful experience.

We were incredibly fortunate to have Ren house sit for us while we were away in the UK and Europe for 2 months. From the moment we left, we felt completely at ease knowing our home was in such capable hands.
She looked after everything with such attention to detail—from the house and pool to our potted plants—and we returned to find everything in immaculate condition. In fact, the house looked even better than when we left!

We are senior retirees who like to travel- and we have always felt safer having a housesitter in our home, rather than relying on neighbours to "keep an eye on the place".

For that reason, we are always looking for reliable and professional housesitters and we really struck the jackpot when we found Ren!!!!

Most recently, in early August, Ren looked after our home (and an adopted feral cat!) beautifully, I could not find a single thing that gave me any reason to be concerned.

The plants were all watered, the cat fed, mail carefully placed in my husband's office, and messages left on the voice mail landline, dutifully stored.

When we returned the home was immaculate - I must warn you, gentle reader, Ren is prone to cleaning and tidying up, which was not in her job description!!!

Fresh flowers arranged, everything tidy and clean, it was a delight to come home to.

Ren is honest, reliable, and totally professional. She treated our home as if it were her own, and I felt so relieved not to have to check up with her while away, I knew she would do a great job and would be able to use her own initiative if she thought there was something she needed to check with me.

Ren & her family house sat for us for 4 weeks. We came back to happy cats, a flourishing garden, and an absolutely spotless house (as well as a fabulous spaghetti bolognaise as we only got in at 9 pm). I'd definitely recommend Ren as your next house sitter!
