Hello future hosts : ) I am Rebecca, a plant-tending, simple-living, animal-loving 42 year old Australian. My partner is Arlon, a British born 36 year old who now calls Australia home.

Currently based in Western Australia, between the two of us we have covered a lot of this land as well as abroad.

After knuckling down in Perth for a few years, we are again ready to invite new energy and new opportunities! To exchange our time and effort for a place to call home.

I (Rebecca) work as a counsellor and also do one-on-one yoga sessions for people with disabilities through the NDIS. Both of these vocations can be done online, meaning I have flexibility in my day-to-day life.

Arlon has worn many hats from farm-working backpacker, to accountant, to mine-site operations and many things in-between. He is always seeking new vocations to add to his skill set and has an equal love for studying as he does for tinkering around, fixing things, etc.

We come with a positive attitude, a resourceful nature and a handsome and sassy Burmese cat called Shae, who we inherited from our elderly neighbour who passed away a couple of years ago ( the neighbour, not the cat!). He is extremely domesticated in that he has NO interest in catching birds, skinks or any other wildlife (a rare breed of cat indeed). He has decided that he is simply too content to involve himself in such things.

We are both vegetarian, non-smokers and non-drinkers, and live a healthy lifestyle of ocean swims, bush hikes, daily yoga, running and gym classes. We have our own small reliable vehicle with C-class license (no motor home etc).

As we do not have any kids we are relishing the opportunity to keep travelling, exploring and expanding our horizons, giving and receiving in our own unique ways. Read more...
