More information about this house sitter

In December 2016 I began my housesitting adventure and I called it my BIG adventure because it has changed my life and gave me the freedom to travel (when not looking after your gorgeous pets). Then COVID hit and times changed for everyone!

Therefore I had been housesitting on and off (between traveling etc..) during this time and really enjoying the experience. I plan to continue housesitting and traveling when I retire in a couple of years.

It is also such a pleasure to cultivate rapport with owners and their beautiful pets, as those who engaged my services have never hesitated to contact me when they need help.

I am a capable, hardworking professional who has raised 4 beautiful children and now find myself an "empty nester".

My friends and family would describe me as honest, ethical, resilient and easygoing. The description I would give starts with cleanliness and ends with fussy... as my home is tidy and clear from clutter.

I treat my belongings and other peoples with respect. Over the years we have had a variety of family pets such as dogs, birds, guinea pigs, fish and sea horses (do they count)? I currently don't have any pets, so I am free and available to help you to look after yours.

I will care for your home and pets like they are my own. I am prepared to arrange or rearrange my work time around your pet/s needs as I have lots of flexibility being a shift worker to do so or alternatively request some time off! Please refer to my online reviews and the photos of my references for confirmation of my happy customers!!!

I would like to mention the following -

I am unable to housesit for a smoking household as I am a non-smoker.

I require a proper bedroom with a reasonable bed / bedding, heating (air conditioning or at least a fan) and somewhere to organise my clothes (cupboard space). Having an iron and ironing board would also be a requirement. ?

I am not a vet or veterinarian nurse and not trained to administer medication for pet/s other than a simple tablet or something that doesn't involve needles etc... Sorry I am unable to sleep with your pet/s. Also unable to do any heavy lifting or extreme yard work.

Best assured I am happy to meet and chat about your (pet/s) requirements so we can work together to ensure an arrangement that everyone is 100% happy to proceed with. I look forward to hearing from you and assisting with your housesit. It is also mutually beneficial if you can provide confirmed dates / times at this time of your departure / arriving home for a seamless process.

Due to working full time shift work I have some flexibility - but once booked, changes to dates and times become problematic to a degree and therefore may not be able to be accommodated (last minute). ????????
