I grew up on a cattle farm in central western NSW and love to care for pets, keep gardens watered, check stock, troughs and fences, etc. I know from my experiences of having house sitters at my home in Melbourne how important it is that the pot plants do actually get watered and that the pets and other animals always have food and water available.

Anyone who knows me will tell you that I am scrupulously clean and organised. I take responsibilities for animals and plants and home security very, very seriously. As a farm kid, those duties get drilled into you from an early age. I grew up with cats, house dogs, chickens, geese, farm dogs and stock. Our lovely little Chiuhuahua- Jack Russell cross Zoe lived to 19 until she passed in 2019. I used to take her out in my backpack when she got too old to walk.

I work remotely as a counsellor by phone and internet three days a week for one of Australia's largest Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) and so I will need a place with good Wi-Fi and mobile phone reception.

I have a current national Police check and a Working with Children check. Both are required by my workplace, where I have been employed for 7 years. I also have a drivers' licence and my own vehicle.

I am 65 and fit for my age: non-smoker, non-vaper and very occasional drinker (a glass or two of wine on the weekends). I love bodysurfing, walking and sketching.
