Hi,we are planning our trip of a lifetime to Australia at the end of the year,this is why we have joined this site.
we are Linda and Brian a retired nurse and teacher who love to travel.and meet new people. We are fit ,active ,reliable and resourceful able to do gardening and diy.We enjoy travelling and meeting new people ,we have spent many months cruising with our boat mainly in Italy and Greece since our retirement ,we have recently sold our boat so now have more time to devote to house sitting and travel.
we are experienced house/pet sitters,we use another site were we have a profile and testimonials ,I cannot link it to this page so have attached a photo of our most recent references ,but can provide others on request.
We are home owners ,practrical.clean.non smokers,will maintain regular contact and updates with hosts.we both drive and have full clean licences, if invited to sit we would make a commitment for the full term.

We love cats,before retirement we always had 2 cats the last ones with us 14 years and we do miss a stroke and a cuddle.
We have sat for friends and family,we look after our daughters cats and house when thy go on holiday.we have completed house /pet sits in Scotland looking after a large house 1cat and 11 hens. a sit in Ireland looking after 3 cats,and we looked after a large house and 2 14 year old cats in northern Italy.In january last year we looked after an elderly cat in rural Scotland ,the cat needed a reassuring person as she was deaf and elderly,but rewarded us with affection .our most recent sit was in the caribbean caring for a family of 5 cats and detached home.as an ex nurse I am confident in giving medication to pets .we live in rural north yorkshire uk.and have a large garden we enjoy growing our own vegetables ,our daughter and 2 grandchildren live an hours drive from us.
we plan to travel to australia for 3 months (dates not yet firmed up)but probably Dec,Jan and Feb, if anyone is looking to travel to the uk we would also be willing to house swap .
We both have police checks.
