My name is Rick Garjees I am 36 years of age and we are a family of 5. Our children are aged 9,4, and 1. We also have 3 dogs, two of which are working dogs. My partner and I share the responsibilities of taking care of the the family and our pets. We are independent and we uphold traditional family values to a high standard as well as honesty and integrity. I consider myself to be hard-working, honest and reliable. I have always wanted and have done the right thing for the best interests whether it is my family, employer, boss, team members and clients while upholding my values of whilst doing so. For the past 15+ years I have worked in the security industry and have carried out a number of roles and duties ranging from asset protection, surveillance, to aviation screening and aviation protection. I also own a small drone which I use for aerial photography which is a personal hobby. Prior to my security experience I held an apprenticeship in painting and decorating. I am able to use a wide variety of tools and equipment, and consider myself to be technologically minded. I have knowledge around farming and property maintenance as I have grew up around live stock and have caretaking experience. I am familiar with operating farm equipment such as mowers, tractors, slashing etc. I love growing food and we love gardening, camping, fishing and the children love animals. I have livestock experience such as feeding, managing daily water intake and carrying out required tasks as needed to accommodate for livestock. I have always been excellent at adapting to my current environment, needs, needs of others and accommodating for those needs as they arise. My family and I enjoy being out in nature and the country side. We like working with animals and don't mind being anywhere whether rural or remote. We are currently caretaking on a farm in NSW for the past 7 - 8 months. We look after a number of farm animals as well as slashing, gardening and basic maintenance.
