Hi and thanks for reading our bio on Mindahome…

We’ve used house-sitters previously with great results for us and our fur-children so we thought why not become sitters ourselves!

Tylana and I own our house in Noosa and have been home owners for decades but also have extensive experience with pets. Currently a three year old Red Kelpie and a 12 year old cat in addition to large dogs, cats and chickens. We’d prefer a house with animals that require exercise, care and of course our love however will be travelling without Rosie and Kitty.

I’m recently retired and Tylana is doing some contract work currently in the Hobart area so we’re keen to house sit in Hobart.

Both of us are endurance athletes (trail running/hiking/mtb/gravel) so our fur children get to enjoy plenty of exercise but also like us, get their rest and recovery. Of course, our cat supervises from inside as she’s old and just enjoys food and love. Needless to say we’re not smokers nor drinkers.

We both have a ‘green thumb’ and will put some pics up of our yard/garden. We live in a sub-tropical area so we’re used to plants and yards growing continuously and requiring plenty of attention.

We’ve had the same house sitters for our house whilst we’ve been away on extended trips previously so are familiar with trusting people with our animals and house - don’t worry, your house and furred loved ones will be well looked after! The same request we had of our own house sitters in that they look after the house like their own (clean/tidy/respectful) also applies to us and you can be assured your house will be looked after how you want and returned in the same or better condition.
