Hi, I’d like to introduce ourselves, my name is Joanne and my partner is Andrew. We have been travelling Australia for the past 19 months and are currently situated on The Central Coast of NSW. We are a very quiet couple who love animals and are meticulous in all aspects of house keeping. In our recent employment I worked for a large charity as a Training and Placement Officer for 17 years, resigning in 2021 to take up full time travel. Andrew is a Landscape Gardener with a high profile Landscape company. He worked with them for 10 years before we travelled and has now returned to work for them in the role of Team Leader. He has an impeccable work ethic and held in high esteem by his employer.We will be residing on the central coast for one year due to the fact that I have a new granddaughter and would like to be close by to her over the next year. We don’t have any pets (sadly, we recently had to say goodbye to our Maltese/Shihtzu girl, Maggie. She travelled Australia with us but became too frail and unwell in her old age, it broke our hearts to say our goodbyes but she had a great life with us from the age of 6 when we rescued her from a terrible situation.)
We have a 22 foot caravan that we are happy to sleep in whilst looking after your home and pets but if you’d prefer we sleep in the house that’s ok too. I am meticulously clean in the home and Andrew takes great pride in lawn and garden maintenance. We are kind natured, quiet and responsible. We do not smoke and only drink alcohol on occasions such as a glass of wine when dining out and Andrew will have a beer after work on a hot day. We are honest, conscientious and financially comfortable. We can provide a current police check as well as photos of our previous rental home of 8 years to show you how well we kept it. I guarantee that you will not be disappointed or uneasy about entrusting your home and pets in our care whilst you enjoy your holiday. We would be happy to meet with you to further discuss this house sit and your requirements. We would need room to park our van whilst sitting. A driveway is fine. Andrew would also park his work vehicle on the street.
As of 2024 we will be heading south and towards WA so we will be offering house sits on the way, we will just have our car and van. (No work vehicle). We guarantee that we will not invite anyone into your home. We will take great care of your home and pets and you can count on us to be reliable when we accept a sitting job. We can usually only accept house sitting assignments that can accomodate parking for our van, unless there is a caravan storage centre nearby.
