Casual teacher and retired social worker who are occasionally wanting to get away from our 'normal life' for short periods of time. We are a responsible couple who have survived demanding work-loads and raising our 5 children together. We enjoy looking after animals and have taken care of several dogs and cats during our housesits. I was raised on a wheat/sheep and cattle farm where we also had horses, dogs, and chooks. My wife loves cats and particularly her cat, Carlos, who recently passed on from old age. We are non-smokers and enjoy both outdoor (gardening, bushwalking, camping) and indoor interests (reading, cooking, home decorating). For 40 years we have lived in and cared for our own home and understand well that people want their home, pets and garden carefully looked after.
