Hi everyone,
Myself and little Burmese tabby cat Soho are open for some home and pet caring (depending on other pets).
We are available for long term positions in rural or semi rural 3-12 months is fine with us in the right place, although shorter terms of a couple of weeks maybe a good step south for me. I just love being on or near the coast, and I've lived in Tassie several times, house sitting (twice) too during a particularly cold winter. Fine by me, I've got the gear for it :) I sat a home in Metung, Vic, twice and am still in contact with the previous owner. He has supplied a good reference. My partner and I (she came down from QLD to join me) also sat a lovely home on the Mitchell River near Payneham, in-between the Metung sits.
We have been home and pet sitting for friends n family over the past few years. Goats, chickens, dogs, cats and the occasional horse.
I love country walks, waterways especially and wide spaces, photographing OR fishing as I go ... and keep a tidy house!
I would love to care for your home and fur family although Soho the cat is a bit of a loner and might not fit in with other inside pets, otherwise, she is a delightful creature and very well house-trained. I don't mind a bit of mowing at all if it's needed.
Referees are available and now Soho and I are ready to do it again.
We will be available from the end of April onwards. Soho is very well trained and will not scruff up your furniture and never has during the three years we have been companions. She is very much a one person companion and although a very curious kitty may not play well with other cats, although we have never been in a position to try that one yet. Boisterous dogs are probably out for her.
