Hello! I am an Australian woman (39) who spent 2013-2014 year travelling around Europe, housesitting. I'm currently working as a social worker in Melbourne.

I am currently seeking housesits in Australia. Dates are flexible, I'm looking to do some relaxing/studying.

When I was on my Europe trip I had a glorious time and fel in love with so many beautiful pets.

I sat for a Rhodesian Ridgeback in Barcelona who was 14 months and needed lots of walks. (I took her running with me). Me & my then partner also sat for a B & B in Normandy France for 3 & 1/2 weeks which included two dogs, many chickens two donkeys and a pig, along with 9 other sits throughout the year. I also spent 2 months by myself looking after a small farm in rural Scotland in Winter. I was caretaking two gorgeous farm dogs, around 50 chickens , geese, ducks and other poultry, 4 ponies and 2 horses.

Before I took the year off of a lifetime I was working in management in a large utility company. I ran a team of 15 staff, and so know the importance of reliability and responsibility. Whilst I love my job my main love is my volunteer work with children. I have spent considerable time in Northern Australia working in remote indigenous communities running school holiday programs, and also doing work in Melbourne.

I am active and I love to spend my time in the outdoors. I spend my holidays hiking and camping in Victoria.

I love animals. I grew up in rural towns, and spent on a lot of time on a farm, caring for chickens, and helping with cattle and sheep. I know how to ride and care for horses, and not only that, I love them!

I do have my own little baby now- Teddy, an Australian Cattle Dog who turned 2 years old Dec 2022.

She is friendly and loves other dogs, though because she recently had knee surgery we're only looking for sits that have no dogs or cats, unless the dog is quite old and unlikely to play with her as she has to rest.
