I'm a 58 yr old former home owner who has been house and pet sitting privately for a number of friends since January 2024 when my longterm relationship came to an end. In a past life I was a social worker and I'm now a casual bus driver saving to buy my next home. I'm honest, reliable and respectful. I have loved and looked after all sorts of animals since I was a kid growing up the NT - cats, dogs, birds, fish and wallabies! I have had the privilege of looking after many frail, elderly and unwell animals including 2 sixteen year old cats earlier this year. I love gardening and can mow, whipper snip, prune, weed, tend compost and worm farms. I am clean and tidy and can deal with many minor household maintenance jobs. The most consistent themes in the 16 Airbnb Reviews from my 9 year membership are that I am easy to communicate with, respectful of the property and neighbours, and leave the place spotless. I don't have formal references from the friends I have housesat for this year but can supply them if needed.
