Bonjour ! We are Valentin and Stéphanie, a French couple discovering Australia.

We share a passion for animals and plants and would love to bring a warm and caring approach to your pets, plants and home care.

Stéphanie (36): I have lived with animals all my life. My parents had dogs (July, French Spaniel and Amy, Border Collie) and recently welcomed a stray cat (Finette, a shy young cat who chose our house as her new home!); and I had a cat, Flokati (a stubborn but beautiful cat who could melt anyone's heart!).
Living in Paris I didn't have enough space to make an animal happy, but I always managed to take care of plants.
This long-time companionship with animals and plants has instilled in me a great understanding of their needs and behaviors.
With a PhD in Pharmacy, I now work as a free-lance and mostly work from home, so I could stay most of the time home sitting !

Valentin (29): As a child, I always wanted to have a cat, but my parents always found it too restrictive (MindAHome didn’t exist at the time!). Luckily, my cousins had cats so I always enjoyed spending time with their little pets when visiting them.
At 23, while backpacking around South America after graduating as an engineer, I spent a month volunteering at an animal sanctuary in Bolivia. This place welcomes animals that have been abused, in need of treatment or simply a family. There are wild and domestic animals: monkeys, parrots, birds of prey, but also coatis, ocelots, agoutis and dogs… This experience was very enriching for me because I was able to make a real difference by taking care of these endearing animals.
Also, I regularly take care of my parent’s garden (lawn mowing, weeding and plant pruning/watering).

Even though our lifestyle doesn’t allow us to have a pet of our own, we are always happy to spend time with our friends’ pets, which is why last year we jumped at the chance to take care of a friend’s rabbit for a week and have very great memories of the experience.
We would love to share cuddles, belly rubs, walks and specific types of care with your furry or leafy companions – not to mention we would be glad to send you picts & vids while you’re away so you don’t miss them too much ?!

You’ll leave for your trip with a peace of mind as we are quiet, respectful, reliable and we don’t smoke.
We remain at your disposal and would be glad to make a video-call to meet each other and fully understand your needs for the stay!
