Wendy grew up in a rural lifestyle mid north coast NSW, Moved to Qld's Darling Downs area to take up a teaching post in the Primary School System, teaching grades from early childhood to grade 5 over the years. Wendy is a quiet reserved lady who is quite comfortably at home, in the garden, walking and caring for animals.

Ian grew up on Qld's western Darling Downs area where he has been involved in mixed dairying enterprise, beef cattle, grain growing and small crops. Ian enjoys spending time with all animals (misses his horses, dogs & cattle) and has a keen love of nature and takes pride in a job well done.

We have the "old" generational mindset & integrity, are mature, responsible, non-smokers, rarely drink and never do drugs. We prefer an afternoon bbq with friends rather than frequent clubs, pubs or wild parties.

WHY WE HOUSE SIT
Chance to experience life in a different town, state, country and climate that we might not normally visit Opportunity to build connections with people and a variety of pets and different animal species. Enjoy keeping active through gardening, maintenance work and looking after a home. Visit local points of interest and mingling with the locals

OUR CURRENT SITUATION
Sold our farm to travel around Australia and to overseas destinations. House-sitting is often the reason we will head to a particular town, region or country. We are prepared to travel throughout Australia, being very flexible where we go and for how long we stay.

OUR AIMS
To work with you prior to our appointment to ensure you feel completely comfortable with us looking after your pets and property. To provide a caring environment for your pets and ensure they are happy, healthy and loved while you are away. To care for your property and gardens as we would our own and leave them in as good or better condition than when we first arrived.

Absolutely fantastic. Ian and Wendy house sat for us for 12 days during August 2019 and we came home to our tribe of animals who were all happy, healthy and obviously very well cared for. Our house had been looked after as if it were us still here, and even though we were in Fiji, the communication was great. This was our first time using house sitters and we really couldn't have asked for more friendly, fun and caring people. We have no choice but to say they come highly recommended from us.

We wish to sincerely thank Wendy and Ian for their meticulous care of our new home and Bella, our aging cavoodle. We were first time users of a house sitter and were a little apprehensive at first, however, our conversations by phone and subsequent meeting quickly elayed these concerns. Ian and Wendy did not disappoint. The garden and house were meticulously maintained. They even went the extra mile by fertilising our newly laid turf lawn and sprayed our weeds! Bella was also happy and contented on our return. We had the opportunity to spend a little time with them on our return and we thoroughly enjoyed their company. We would have no hesitation in recommending Ian and Wendy to anyone wishing to use a house sitter and would most happily have them return on other occasions when we travel.

We had the pleasure of having Ian and Wendy look after our farm while we took a short break in March 19. We were able to enjoy our break knowing that our farm and animals were in good care. Ian has a wealth of experience with farm animals and we appreciated his ability to deal with any issues that arise around the property. Everything was neat and tidy when we returned home and were pleased that Ian and Wendy were able to explore our valley during their visit.
