More information about this house sitter

I am a single Australian woman in my 50s currently house and pet sitting in and around Melbourne and Victoria, Australia. I work as a professional orchestral musician, but have many other interests.

I have recently lost my lovely old doggie Layla, so now have a bit more freedom to come and look after your house and pets. I love all animals and have spent a lot of time over the years on a farm, so chooks, horses et al are all familiar to me.

I have a daughter and a grandson and work full time in Melbourne. I have my own house in the lovely leafy eastern suburbs and spend a lot of my spare time renovating, gardening, reading and looking after pets and houses whose owners are away!

I have travelled a lot, and really enjoy exploring and discovering new environments, particularly if they are not hotels or B&Bs. I adore animals and have had many in my family over the years, including poddy lambs, horses and reptiles. I really appreciate a homely home and love helping others have peace of mind for their animals' well-being when they travel.

I have my own home, children, grandchildren and pets in Melbourne, and am very aware of the importance of maintaining one's home environment - it is an extremely important aspect of life! I have minded many houses over time, but this is my first time through Mindahome. I am also a professional and academic (PhD) of longstanding employment so bring a high degree of responsibility to any endeavour.
