Hi there :)
My name is Tanya (49) and my partner's name is Simo (39) (Simo is short for the male Italian name Simone).
I am a counsellor and work completely online so my work travels with me.
Simo works as a gardener, both employed and freelance.

We are looking for housesitting as we like to travel and we like to be by the beach, and although we have our own campervan, we see the benefit in having a 'home base' some of the time, and if this can benefit someone else (such as you who may be reading this) at the same time, through us caring for your home and pet/s then it seems like a win/win to us :). (Our camper van has a garage that it can be parked in - it doesn't need to come with us on housesits if there's not space for parking)

My son is now 21 years old and is independent, and our staffy - 'River', passed away at 14, about 6 years ago. So Simo and I now find ourselves with a level of freedom that we didn't have when we were responsible for children and pets, which allows us to travel when possible.

We do travel to Europe from time to time to be with Simo's family - usually in the SA winter months/European summer. So we are looking forward to helping out with house/pet sitting in coastal areas where possible during the spring, summer and autumn months for 2024/2025.

We are both responsible and are great with animals. Simo is obviously good with gardens and I have a thing for house plants.
Simo is particularly good with dogs. However, all animals generally love him!
