ABOUT US:
We are a couple from Slovenia who loves animals, travelling and spending time in nature. We are both very active, we love to hike, swim and simply be in nature and in the company of animals. We are also very calm, kind and compassionate people. Kaja has an MA in Cultural studies and has worked as a marketing and sales associate for the past 2.5 years and Rebeka has a BSc in Biology and has worked in a pharmaceutical company for the past 3 years. We are non-smokers.

WHY WE LOVE TO PET AND HOUSE SIT:
As a couple we both love travelling, getting to know different cultures, people and animals and we see house and pet sitting as a perfect opportunity to do just that. Since we cannot have our own pets at the moment we are always searching for ways to be surrounded by animals. We understand how hard it is being away from your precious pets and we will make sure to take the best care of them and attend to their every need. We will also make sure to keep up with your property as it were our own.

OUR EXPERIENCE:
We both grew up in households with many different animals – Kaja with cats of varying ages and two parrots and Rebeka with cats, a Siberian Husky, Mongolian gerbils, fish, and at one point also stick insects. As a couple we have travelled around Europe through Workaway platform. During our stays with different hosts (stays were from 10 days to a month long) we gained precious experience of looking after different animals - cats, dogs, horses, goats and chicken, but also maintaining and taking care of different properties and doing gardening, painting and general maintenance. Through our Workaway experiences and home rentals we have always thoroughly looked after all sorts of properties. We have been renting apartments for the last 10 years and we always make sure to keep our living space tidy, organized and clean and are used to all kinds of house chores. We also have some basic handyman experience. Although we are new to Mindahome, we will gladly provide external reviews from Workaway platform.

OUR PLANS AND AVAILABILITY FOR PET AND HOUSE SITS:
We are planning on arriving to Perth on a work and holiday visa in mid April and have already secured a house/pet sit until 3rd June. We are actively looking for potential pet and house sits in the greater Perth area and beyond from 4th June onwards.
