Hi, I’m Sam, short for Samantha. Thanks for dropping by. :) I house sit, I’m handy. And I'm a homebody who loves animal companions. :)

I'm a mature woman, and fully house trained. :) I’ll be house-sitting for you solo, I’m a non-smoker, and typically vegetarian. Mostly I'm a homebody, always busy and pottering around – the kind of person who has great relationships with her neighbours (see attachments) and friendly with everyone! I value the opportunity to help other people. Hopefully I can help you too. :)

Life is a fun transition for me at present, and I am loving finding new ways to enrich my life. In 2023 I left my professional career and went back to TAFE to do carpentry, I went road-tripping for 6 months, and I started my own handywoman business & DIY workshops for women (it's still fledgling for now).

Your pets are my priority when I mind them.

I grew up with animals - from the ordinary (cats, dog, birds) to pet mice, chooks, bees and farm animals.
My love of animals has continued into adulthood. My own dog, Don, died during the pandemic. He was old but I miss him, and our walks and cuddles.

So hanging out with your pets (or farm animals) will be rad!

On a personal level, I love nature and really enjoy growing my own food. I spend my leisure time learning new stuff (big podcast fan!), writing, dancing, or baking yummy things. Equally I like to do yoga classes, or finding some local activities, or to join a working bee. I've travelled and lived abroad a lot.


You'll find awesome reviews from all the wonderful homeowners I have house sat for throughout the last year. I'm still in touch with many (mostly to ask about their pets! ha ha!).
