Hi,
I have a very good friend who house sits in the Northern Beaches Sydney. He would turn up with the most adorable dogs ever and melt my heart.
I have lived a lifestyle guiding extended camping tours for school kids, retirees and international language students around many parts of the country filling the rest of the time sailboat cruising. I am putting my little sailboat at Geelong for a total refit and also starting fulltime online study in youth work.
I work mainly fulltime in June and July and am focusing on my studies this year. I am currently talking with Wyndham council about a couple of days work as my study requires 120 hours work placement.
My mate has suggested to give house sitting a go, I have owned a dog previously and love pets but lifestyle hasn't allowed me to have one of my own for a longtime. I would love to adopt yours for a while! I am a non smoker and am respectful and responsible of peoples property and well being (need to be when you drive 500k plus touring coaches across the country and lead groups of 40+ guests). I have two adult children (my daughter loves pets) who may visit at times depending on location, their mood and the home owners feelings about this. I am looking for sits mainly in Geelong, Werribee and south west Victoria at this stage but am open to offers for shorter sits elsewhere.
Being fit and active I don't mind sitting dogs that require walking and ball throwing (long walks along the beach a bonus). I would ask that you leave good instruction on how you want your pets, property and gardens cared for and you can consider it done!
I am used to living a small foot print and am not going to spread out in your home more than what space your pet, garden and assigned chores require. Read more...
