Hi there and thank you for taking time to read our profile.

Myself and Jamie are both animal loving 30 year olds from the UK. We made a decision in early 2017 to leave our lovely home, jobs and beloved pets (luckily with our parents) to relocate to Australia and further our careers. Whilst making our way over to the other side of the world we took some time out to travel and explore as much as we could living what they call the “Nomads Dream” arriving in Australia in December 2017.
Amongst all the fun we have realised that we dearly miss our trio of pets back home, Belle our rescue Greyhound, Buster the soppy Black Lab and Sonny the mischievous ginger Tom Cat. So when I discovered this website that could potentially meet both of our requirements to visit different countries and still have the company of our furry friends I was very excited!

Now we have arrived in Australia we would like to somewhat continue our adventures and nomad lifestyle around our work lives, and what better way to achieve this than house and pet sitting. Jamie is now working for a prestige remedial company in Sydney and I continue to work as project officer for Commonwealth Bank both from the office in Sydney CBD and remotely from the comfort of the sofa!

We are excited to make a home somewhere and finally unpack our bags (even for a short while) and enjoy some of our favourite hobbies ...cooking and the outdoors.

As I will be working often from home, I can offer you practically full time care of your pets and house duties. As you've probably guessed we love animals and have both been brought up to treat them as family members (often to be found chatting away to them!). We love the positive energy animals provide when you’re in their company..it’s our happy place.
We enjoy taking long walks and spending our evenings snuggled on the sofa. I am confident that we would be able to provide a relaxed atmosphere for your pets, allowing you the chance to relax during your time away in the comfort of knowing they are in good safe hands.

Why we want to house sit;

We are enjoying the flexibility of our younger years with no dependents (as yet) so why not house sit. It gives us the opportunity to visit new places in the comfort of a beloved home and sharing the animal love! We like to offer a fellow animal lover and traveller the peace of mind when they take their break from reality
It is a privilege for us to become temporary guardians, and we always go the extra mile to make people happy by meeting specific needs.
By offering you our total commitment and care, we want you to feel completely at ease and happy when you go away.

Our experience;

First and foremost, we are animal-lovers through and through and will give your beloved pets all the care, attention and fuss that you would wish for.
We are happy to keep you updated with regular emails, although some people prefer to just forget about everything which is great!
Having 3 very different characters of pets back in the UK has provided us with extensive experience and knowledge. Belle is a rescue dog and was extremely timid when she first arrived, she has come leaps and bounds (literally) over the past years and is now the most confident of them all! Buster is arthritic and has daily medicine administered, and regular injections which I am competent in providing. Our cat Sonny likes to have attention when it suits him and at times can be super affectionate (which I love), he also likes to bring us presents in the form of his catch over night, so over time I have learnt to not be screamish about what we may wake up to! I'd like to think we have been through it all and understand most animal needs with this crazy threesome over the past 6 years.
As well as several successful house sits completed via this site and another pet sit site (please see our references), both me and Jamie would usually be the first port of call for any of our friends and family who wanted to go on holiday etc, to look after their animals either at our home or theirs. I have also previously taken care of a house in Brazil for 3 months where I hosted guests. Included in this package was Ghandi the dog and Arroz the cat.

With regards to household experience, we have confidently run our own household for 6 years and understand the responsibilties that reside with this. Jamie is a competent handy man and actually renovated our own house. I am very House proud ..living by the motto tidy house tidy mind!
