Hi, I'm Emily. I'm in my early 30s and I have set my life up so that I can travel and work remotely. I have housesat from Queensland to Victoria, looking after cats, dogs, fish, sheep, goats, donkeys, chickens and even a few caterpillars that a 6-year old wanted me to feed until they turned into butterflies. I've also looked after intensive tropical gardens and house plants, along with vege gardens. I'm experienced with farms and have housesat (and continue to on an ongoing basis) at an off grid farm in southern NSW with many animals (dogs, cats, chickens, sheep, goats, donkey).
Your loved ones, whether they have leaves or fur or scales or a hundred legs, are safe with me. I've been a dog mum to a beautiful Cocker and have dealt with many issues (who knew purebreds were more difficult!) that means I'm a safe step in mum for your fur babies. Honestly, will travel to just spend time with another Cocker...
I have experience in more intensive situations as well; fortunately in this situation the cat won and the brown snake didn't. This leads me to more open conversations at the start of a sit, like where your local vet is and what your instructions are for care if I am unable to be in touch with you if you are overseas etc.
I do love to play guitar, and am happy to send you little songs that I sing for your pets while you're away. I'm also known to take beautiful photos of your loved ones to keep you updated whilst you're away.

I travel spontaneously, and have built my life so that I can up and leave without notice. Whilst most of my life is unplanned, if your sit is outside of my local area in FNQ then I usually need at least 2 weeks' notice to accommodate travel time in my car. If you are in other states, I'll need a bit more notice as I will travel by air.
I travel, work and live solo. I have a healthy lifestyle and enjoy travelling to places that support that, preferably close to some kind of water source - beach is a win!
My work requires wifi so I am only able to travel to places that accommodate this. I am based in FNQ but have only recently moved here from Brisbane, so I enjoy any time I can spend in Brisbane. I also have an office in Melbourne (St kilda) so always happy to be in Victoria and pop in to see my staff when I can. I do work 100% remotely so I am able to be at your home for the entirety of your time away if this is a requirement.
