Group: Mother & Daughter Duo
Pearl – mid-40s, full-time professional in the Australian Public Service, and a Justice of the Peace for South Australia
Linda – late 60s, retired, with a background in community services and aged care
We’re a down-to-earth, responsible mother and daughter team based in South Australia. We’re non-smokers, naturally house-proud, and take real pride in keeping a home clean, calm, and well cared for – whether it’s our own or someone else’s.
Although we’re new to house sitting in an official capacity, we’ve looked after pets and homes for friends many times and absolutely loved it – as have the animals and their owners. We treat every pet and property with genuine care and attention, and always put our hearts into making sure everything is looked after properly.
We share our lives with two very small, gentle dogs:
? Sage – a 2.5kg female (Brussels Griffon x Toy Poodle), turning 4 in August
? Finn – a 4kg male Brussels Griffon who just turned 2 in March
They’re both friendly, calm, and well-socialised, and we only ever bring them along if it’s been discussed and agreed with the homeowner in advance.
Linda is retired and home during the day. She has a gentle nature, a real way with animals, and enjoys gardening, walking, and keeping a tidy home. Pearl works full-time in government, loves early mornings and time outdoors, and brings a strong sense of reliability and professionalism to every stay.
As a Justice of the Peace, Pearl also brings an added layer of trust and integrity to the homes we care for.

We’re animal lovers through and through, and while we’re happy with most pets, we do prefer to avoid very large or highly energetic dogs that are tricky to walk. We're happy to follow your pet routines, water plants, collect mail, and keep things running smoothly while you're away.
