Hi, my name is Sue. My husband Trevor and I hail from Brisbane Queensland, and are doing house-sitting in and around Melbourne. I am retired, and Trevor semi-tired, but still does some shifts at Bunnings. We have only done a few house sits on this site, and have a couple of nice references here, but we have also been doing house-sitting for a while on Aussie House Sitters, so we have a lor more references there (see some below). We can offer much to home-owners looking for mature, trustworthy sitters to care for their home and pets while they enjoy some time away.

Our purpose in doing some house-sitting is that now we are more free, I want to be able to spend some time in Victoria to be nearer to my aged mother who has dementia, and declining health. She has now entered a nursing home, and so house-sitting in the local area has offered a great opportunity to be able check in more regularly to see & help her.

We are non-smokers, enjoy a quiet life, and both love pets, while I love spending time in the garden as my hobby. We are also proud home-owners ourselves, and have had friends sitting our home in Brisbane, so we understand the need to have someone stay in your home that will care for it, and your pets, as their own!

Sue and Trevor did a wonderful job looking after our home and our pet dog Rosie They are a lovely couple and very easy to get on with. They are good communicators and they kept us in touch with texts on how Rosie was getting on. Friendly, flexible, fun and fabulous sums these two up. Trevor and Sue were reliable and trustworthy and really took care of my cat and dog. My puppy still went looking for them in the spare room after they left which was a great sign. I think my puppy gave them hrs of laughs too. I would have no hesitation using them again in the future.

Sue and Trevor are exceptional house sitters. They looked after our two labradoodles and home for 8 days. Oscar is a full on hypo boy and Molly is reserved, doesn't like strangers with a particular dislike for men. From when Sue and Trevor arrived both dogs took to them immediately. I was pleasantly shocked the way Molly responded to both Trevor and Sue. It made going away so much easier knowing we had the best sitters looking after our puppos. Sue sent photos and kept us up to date on Molly and Oscar. When we got home, they were both happy and healthy. Our home was spotless, and looked cleaner than when we left. We can highly recommend Sue and Trevor, not only are they great house sitters, but they are the most loveliest of people. Thank you Sue and Trevor, very much appreciated. !
