I am a married woman visiting Canberra from Canada to spend time with my sister, who already lives locally. My travel dates begin on January 10th. I actually grew up in Australia but left for Canada on what was meant to be a short adventure — and ended up staying. I’ll be travelling solo for this trip.

At home in Canada, my husband and I run a 160‑acre farm where we care for chickens and our very spoiled, very loved cat. We sadly lost two of our older pets last year, but our home is still full of animal love.

I’m very house‑proud and particular about keeping things clean and tidy. I’m a “clean as I go” type of person, a non‑smoker, and someone who enjoys the occasional glass of wine. Your home would be extremely well cared for, and I’m happy to provide references upon request.

I’ve attached a few photos of us and our fur baby — I hope they give you a sense of who we are. The first is a selfie from an ice hockey game (we were way up in the high seats!), the second is my husband and me on a road trip to Manitoba this year, and the third is our beautiful boy, Lynx.
