Hi, we are Aimee & Aaron, an animal-loving, non-smoking, sibling-duo with a wealth of experience from 15 successful housesits thus far. We are clean, trustworthy and communicative. Likewise, we take the responsibility of your home, garden and plants very seriously and will love and care for your pets as if they were our own. We have several references and positive reviews from other homeowners for your peace of mind.

Sadly, we have no pets of our own due to previous travel, study/work commitments, and apartment-style or share-house living. Initially, we planned for only 3 months between finding a new rental property each, but we fell in love with the exciting and transient lifestyle of house-sitting and spending time with so many lovely pets!


We bring home owners the experience, patience and compassion required for taking great care of a variety of animals, and we are VERY good at following instructions. Just let us know what is needed. Aimee works from home most days and is therefore able to provide daytime security for your home and ongoing company for your pets. Aaron works on construction sites most days.

Our joint hobbies include SCUBA diving, travelling, dining out, running, socialising with family and friends, hiking and winter sports. Other interests and passions include animal-welfare, wildlife, natural history and Positive Environmental Behaviours, including low-waste living, conservation and veganism.

We both grew up around many animals including our Dad's service dog named Koda, a 45kg weimaraner seen with Aimee in the first image on our profile. We also had pet guinea pigs, rabbits, cockatiels, hermit crabs, tropical fish and other marine creatures. Aaron has a particular interest and experience in salt water aquariums and coral propagation (fragging). 



We are based in the ACT and are open to housesit in most local areas. We are more than happy to meet you and your pets in-person and/or and chat on the phone to discuss your specific needs. Please let us know if you would prefer that we wear masks or if you have any other special requests.

Housesitting testimonials and character references are available upon request. So far, we've been asked to come back and housesit again for 3 different homeowners who were very happy with us.

My name is Aaron and I work as a carpenter subcontracting to volume builders and strata management. I mostly work in a new suburb close to Belconnen (Whitlam). I'm a non-smoker with a strong love for animals and nature. After being in the construction industry for 5 years, I have extensive experience in resolving odd-jobs, repairs, house and lawn maintenance. I'm also able to identify and resolve most small repairs or upkeep tasks that may arise while you're away.
 I'd love to take care of your animals, whether that means a casual dog walk, playing fetch, couch pats, bath time, brushing, medication-giving and/or cage cleaning. I can assure you that your animals will be well taken care for and loved.
