More information about this house sitter

I am an active mature-aged single man who had a rewarding career with Australia Post for 42 years and have now become a self-supporting retiree. I pride myself as a non-smoker, very clean, security conscious and extremely reliable with a healthy respect for other peoples' property. I consider myself a general handyman and have always kept my gardens and lawns in pristine condition. I shared my life with an intelligent and adorable male Golden Retriever dog for 15 years and I have loved and out-lived my two beautiful Siamese and Burmese cats. I have experienced home-sitting over recent years, minding various cats and dogs whilst their owners were away or hospitalised.
I understand that pets remain much happier and calm when their familiar routines are continued. At this time of my life I find myself without home ownership and sadly without a pet, an opportune time to take up some serious home sitting experiences. I am willing to home sit for a period of one week or up to six months. I would love to home-sit within the Sunshine Coast area including the hinterland but may consider other interesting locations also.
