Hi there! ? We are Flor and Fede from Mendoza, Argentina. We are a couple dince five and a half years ago. We decided to take some time off and travel around Australia to explore this beautiful country. We spent 10 months in Melbourne and then moved to Brisbane in May 2023. I (Flor) have a degree in Environmental Management, and Fede is a Technician in Hygiene and Occupational Safety, as well as a Technician in Nature Conservation. We both enjoy outdoor sports, being in contact with nature, meeting people, savoring good food, and reading.

Since our arrival in Australia, we have been pet-sitting using various apps. We have looked after more than 30 homes and many furry friends, including dogs, cats, bunnies, and birds. We were a bit apprehensive the first time we tried pet-sitting but quickly fell in love with it. It allows us to discover new places, immerse ourselves in Australian culture, meet new people, and all of this in the best company—the fur babies.

While traveling, we really miss our families and pets, so the love we find in these babies means a lot to us. For all these reasons, we take care of each pet as if they were our own!

Our Experience:
There was a time when I (Flor) took care of cats for people who went on vacation, leaving their cats in my home for one or two weeks, and I ensured that they all got along with my own cat. In all three cases (three different cats I received), everything went excellently.

I (Flor) used to work in a neighborhood where homeless and neglected dogs were a common sight. With my work team, we voluntarily took them to the vet, covering their treatment costs and consultations.

Furthermore, both of our parents have dogs. Whenever we visit them, we spend quality time with their dogs, taking them to the vet when necessary, going for walks, playing, and showing them love.

While traveling around Australia, we’ve cared for 31 homes, looking after 27 cats, 13 dogs, 3 birds, 5 fish, and 2 bunnies. Our pet care experience includes taking care of puppies, older dogs and cats, going on many walks, and administering medication when needed. Read more...
