I truly enjoy providing care for animals and thoroughly appreciate the companionship and giggles that all pets bring. I just love pets and enjoy their affection and learning thier quirky personalities. I’ve loved my own dogs, cats, birds, fish, guinea pigs and chickens— even a family goat when I was growing up! Interacting with animals comes naturally to me and people remark how quickly their pets warm up to me.
I love keeping things in order and pottering about home and yard keeping things neat, clean and tidy. A non-smoker and contented teetotaller—my only vices are cuddles from pets and the occasional binge on goofy dog and cat videos!
I work part-time—a 7.5 hour shift, 3 days a week and live a quiet homely lifestyle with my adult son and my three grandchildren. Pet sitting offers me a lovely break, plus, my son and grandkids get a well-deserved break from Nana's well-meaning nagging!
My best-bud border collie taught me that life is better with a little butt wiggle. Since she crossed the rainbow bridge, I’ve really been missing the joy of watching a little butt and tail bobbing along in front of me when I’m out walking. I believe our pets deserve adventures, and I’m more than happy to take your pooch for walks, exploring parks, waterways, or even the local ice cream shop (for me, not the dog!)
