AVAILABLE FROM MID APRIL 2023..
We are a retired couple, sold our house in January 2018 housesat in Australia till July 2018, nine sits in all, dogs, cats, birds, fish. We then had six months in UK till February 2019 housesitting in Scotland and England giving us the opportunity to explore lots of places.
We have had house management experience running a holiday home in Launceston for a number of years.. I have teaching and nursing experience. Worked as a cottage mother in the eighties in a children’s home when my first two children were small. My husband had his own accounting business. These jobs helped develop our good organising skills .We had a trip overseas in 2015 which we organised ourselves travelling all over United Kingdom plus travelled into Ireland and Europe. Have had a number of animals over the years, mainly cats and dogs. We are neat and tidy and take pride in keeping any house we have lived in or looked after up to a good standard.
We can obtain police checks, if required, and have good references.
We returned to Tasmania in February 2019 after completing seven housesits in Scotland and England, looking after cats, dogs, fish and a bearded dragon. We then did some housesitting in Tasmania. We enjoyed our time housesitting and exploring and planned to return at a later date. However travelling has been on hold the last couple of years due to world health crisis.

We are looking for housesits in eastern Australia for next year, from mid April working our way up to Port Douglas by July ready for my daughter’s wedding there in early August. We thought we would take extra time to explore on the way and visit family and friends and do more housesitting on the way back to Tasmania. My daughter and her fiancé have been working their jobs along with permanent housesitting in Sydney and Brisbane since late 2018 .They will be soon moving into their own home in Brisbane. Also have another daughter who housesits, however only in holiday time as she has a school child and a granddaughter who also housesits. So housesitting have become a family interest.
