Hello - I'm Belinda. Here's some basic details about me:

I'm a 46-year old single, non-smoking professional who's excited about this opportunity for mutual exchange. I'm Australian but lived overseas and had an international corporate career in the IT industry before trading that life for a more quiet, grounded approach to health & happiness. I'm actively looking for sitting opportunities from 10 days to 6 months.

What makes me a standout sitter?

I'm extremely responsible and caring. I love animals - don't have any of my own right now, but I adored a large Dalmatian for years. I've owned two homes of my own - one in Brisbane and a villa in Thailand. I don't currently own property and I'd like to change that, so I'm using house and pet sitting as one strategy to save money while also helping homeowners have peace of mind while they take a break.

I have previous experience both house and pet sitting and understand the importance of maintaining routines for your furry loved ones while you're away. I don't mind tending to other house matters as well during the stay such as watering plants and collecting mail. I'm extremely clean and tidy.

I'm also happy to stay in as much or as little contact as you're comfortable with. If you want photo updates daily - no problem! Every pet/home owner is different but for me, it's important that you feel comfortable and confident during our agreed upon stay.

I live in Northern NSW. I'm happy to meet or speak via Skype to see whether we're a good fit for each other or during my stay.

I began my career in the Qld Government before working for Microsoft for 10 years in a range of sales and business development roles. I'n now a business consultant and mentor who helps people find the courage to finish with unhelpful repeating patterns. I am also a core team member for a startup social enterprise called MIAKO. I mostly work from my laptop, so I definitely need mobile phone signal during my stay. Internet access would be a bonus.
