Hi I'm Bridget, a creative of art, writing and an intuitive, that loves animals, music, self care, nature, the beach, snorkeling and traveling, walking and exercise and I am housesitting around the Gold Coast and Toowoomba, and surrounds, Queensland til September.

I'm working from home on launching my art website at present.

I'm light-hearted, clean, and nurturing and like my private quiet space. I've house-sat and minded peoples homes for over a decade now and every time I fall in love with the animals I look after.

I grew up with many animals in Queensland including cats, dogs, chooks, ducks, geese, (snakes, spiders), a sheep, cow, a family border collie and eventually my own border collie. I love cats and dogs.

For years I've housesat a family friends border collie and was invited to her family-only funeral and burial, as someone that loved her very much.

I've looked after a border collie, horses, chooks, cats, one in a cyclone on Springbrook Mountain, chooks that I helped learn to roost (because they were new and the owner had gone away and the chooks didn't seem to know how). Indoor cats/ outdoor cats. Giving old dogs their medicine and taking them to their already booked in vet for their weekly cortisol injections, and taking them to their favourite place ~ the beach. I've looked after a few Jack Russells and that I took to yoga with me on the teachers deck and drove everywhere with me. Just to name a few house sits.

I like to keep the homes I stay in private and neat and tidy. My focus will be on making sure your animals are happy and not anxious about you being away and attending to your home needs. I truly believe that your animals are better off being in their own home rather than placed in a kennel while you are away.

I'm a non-drinker and non-smoker also and like to eat clean vegetarian healthy food too.

I'm simple and easy and would love to just settle in and go for walks, connect to the community, do my writing and art website and work from home online with your plants, pets and home as company, and make sure everything is looked after for you. Read more...
