Fit, retired, non smoking (but do enjoy an occasional wine, not whine - life's too good for that) We've been Grey Nomads for 13 years and have successfully done over 50 house-sits. We're not always house-sitting because we have an Isuzu ute (for 4WD trips) caravan, 3 bicycles, and walking boots! We do have a house that is rented so understand the feeling of strangers in the home - and we enjoy doing minor upkeep jobs and gardening - unlike most tenants! We're oldies and don't have wild parties or leave dirty clothes on all floors! Our kids have left the nest, and the family pets died of old age but we enjoy borrowing pets - particularly walking dogs. Win/win we can explore! What we like to do in a house-sit is to get the feel of an area, meet locals, join in clubs/groups (bike riding, conservation, Landcare or bushwalking) and not be just tourists. Anywhere appeals to us but we prefer regional areas. We have been a bit "quiet" the last couple of years because of Co vid, and a few health issues. All is well now!
