Barry was born in Germany, since 1970 Australian citizen, had a small LPG trading business in Munich, Irmgard (aka Irmi) was a Highschool teacher for French and Sports in Munich and surrounds for all her life. There we had dogs all the time, and were renting houses over all the years.

After retirement we decided to move to the beautiful Sunshine Coast, where we eventually found ourselves a perfect house to rent, in which we lived for the last 14 years. The house was in a very quiet cul-de-sac, with a fantastic garden and pool and 4 bedrooms.

The owners, who have become good friends over the years, were suddenly confronted with a serious family issue and asked us to vacate the premises by approx. the end of January 2024. (Attached reference letter)

As we were and still are very fit, sporty and cosmopolitan, had seen many parts of our beautiful Planet, speak several languages, we have now decided to do house-and pet-sitting for some time to come. If at all possible ,we are aiming for longer terms. -
The "German Way" of renting or living in any kind of premises is no 1 to treat it as if it was your own!!! , and no 2 to leave it exactly the same way!!!

Most important thing to emphasize: For the last 13 years we have - with permission of the owners, - looked after and minded hundreds of all kinds and breeds of gorgeous doggies, big and small and even huge and tiny! Up to 4 at a time and over any periods. We love all dogs as if they were our own, The reason: We never had the pleasure of having kids ourselves, they were always our 'kids on 4 paws'!

However, in all honesty, we need to point out that both of us don't particularly love hard garden work. Yet we love to maintain the pool, look after the flowers and plants, the house inside and outside, the car, boat etc.
