Your home, garden & pets in safe hands

More information about this house sitter

Karen, semi-retired teacher, keen traveller and photographer based in Far North Queensland. I am a conscientious, active, reliable, tidy and fastidious person, well experienced in caring for a wide range of companion and farm animals as well as home and garden maintenance in a range of settings from inner city to remote outback, both on and off-grid.

I particularly enjoy the companionship of dogs and birds but am unable to care for cats due to an allergy. I practise tai chi daily and enjoy walking, cycling, swimming and reading. At present I am revisiting South Australia after a long absence. While I am available for city sitting, coastal, rural and outback environs provide the inspiration for the landscape photography I particularly enjoy.

I will return to the NSW mid -north coast towards the end of July 2026 and will be available there to care for your property and companion animals.

Personal and professional references and a current police check are available on request.
