About this house sitting position in Alexandra Hills

Two storey townhouse with air conditioned living area. Almost completely renovated, comfortable and pleasant. Well equipped kitchen, breadmaker, coffee machine etc.

I work from home and have a well-fitted out office, which you are welcome to use (with your own computer of course). We have reliable, high speed internet.

I also have a good library of books that you can borrow while you are here.

We have three rescue kitties who will be about 9 months old by then, and our primary concern is to make sure they are well looked after - not just with food and kitty litter etc. but with attention and affection and some firm no's when required (eg. not allowed on dining room table or kitchen bench etc.).

They have their own enclosure on our back porch that they can access at any time from inside the house and are NEVER to be let outside or left alone overnight.

FYI - you will need to vacuum regularly now they have their proper fur coats!

There will probably be a few plants that need watering in the front courtyard, you may need to mow once or twice in the backyard (takes just 10 minutes with our lightweight electric mower, including taking it out of the shed and putting it back in!).

Our townhouse is the end property in a small, quiet complex, on a street that is busy/noisy during peak hour. You can walk to the local shopping centre (supermarket, shops, TK Maxx, post office, fast food outlets etc.) within 5-10 minutes and there is a park about 3 minutes walk down the road. We are within 15 minutes drive of beautiful Wellington Point where you can sit by the water or try out one of the many very good restaurants.

Brisbane city is an easy drive - 30 minutes or so - or you can park at Wellington Point station and catch a train in (about 60 minutes).

If you want to do some day trips, the Gold Coast is 45-60 minutes drive south, or Tamborine Mountain is about 60 minutes south-west. Within the local area there are plenty of places to explore, such as Manly/Wynnum, Victoria Point, the Bay islands etc. Read more...
