About this house sitting position in Alkimos WA

We are looking for someone (or a couple) to stay in our modern family home from
1st October - 8th October.

Must be non-smoker.
We are looking for someone who will be home most of the time to look after our 2 small dogs.
Charlie (Cream and White, Cavachon, 7yrs old) Millie (Black and White, Cavoodle, 2yrs old)
But of course it’s ok to leave them for a few hours at a time each day to go exploring the area and enjoy all that Alkimos and surrounding suburbs have to offer.

Our home is a modern coastal design with:
- pool
- tropical outdoor areas
- outdoor bbq area
- comfortable and spacious open-plan living
- seperate theatre room
- spacious bedrooms
- excellent heating / cooling through out

Our home is close to many places you can visit:
- local shops
- many restaurants
- convenient take-away options
- beautiful beaches and parks
- near-by bus and train line
- national parks
- big shopping centres such as Ocean Keys and Lakeside Joondalup
- movie theatre
- and many other amenities.
You’ll never be board with all the options you will have to choose from each day!

Our 2 dogs are easy to care for. Charlie lays around and he enjoys belly rubs, while Millie has a bit more energy and she loves you to play with her and her toys. They have a doggy door for outside access to the side of the house and are toilet trained. However, when they are left alone for long periods of time they can occasionally have an accident inside as they aren’t used to being left alone and they get anxious.

This is our 4th time going away and leaving them in the care of someone else, and we’ve always had good feed-back from those who take care of them. They are well-behaved and loving, and only require a small walk each day at the local park that is behind our house, which is super convenient. We usually walk them between 8-10am in the morning so that they’re tired out for the day and they can sleep while we go out for a little while, which makes them less anxious when left alone.

The perfect person for this house/pet set is someone who loves dogs, and doesn’t mind them laying with you on the couch for cuddles, belly rubs, and a bit of play time. Someone who will give them attention and make them feel secure while their family is away.

The dogs are the main focus, the garden/house/pool etc doesn’t require any work. As long as you respect our home, and we come back to a tidy home that is as we left it, and we have happy dogs, then we’ll be more than happy!

We have family that live near by, so if anything happens (emergency or anything) you will have their contact details and they’ll be more than happy to come by and help. We could have got our family to come by and feed our dogs and walk them each day, but it’s on-going daily company that our dogs need, as they’re used to me being home with them most days.
