About this house sitting position in Balladoran
We are farmers and live on 1000 acres. We would prefer sitter/s without their own pets or children.
Large federation home with large rooms with verandahs on 4 sides.
Our primary concerns are our cat Tilly a Birman and our dog Lexie a Border Collie. Tilly is an inside cat. Lexie loves everyone especially Tilly.
We also have about 20 sheep and a jersey house cow Violet who has a calf Bluebell. She like the sheep can just do her own thing in the paddock.
Vegetable garden which hopefully will be on automated watering. Pick and eat whatever you wish.
The local post office sells bread and milk. Milk freezes quite well if you wish.
Gilgandra is 32kms away with Drs, chemist, RSL, cafes etc
Dubbo is 68kms away and is much bigger as it is a city.
There is no transport so you need a car. Nearest neighbours are 2kms away in any direction. However they are always ready to help.
Plenty of room for a caravan.
It may be a bit remote for some but anyone who wants peace and quiet will love it.
