Historic cosy Snowy Hydro worker built 2 bedroom cottage in the Snowy Mountains village of Berridale , 17 mins drive from Cooma and Jindabyne . 1hr 15 to Canberra . 45 mins to Perisher and Thredbo ski/MTB resorts. 2 hours to South Coast beaches.
We have a cat and two dachshunds not always all three requiring care. Sometimes Heidi the tabby cat only. We try to take Otis and Otto with us where poss. Dogs are inside dogs and need a 30-60min walk each day. They know the route! Other than that they like being around.
We have a small Hobie sailing boat on lake Jindabyne , 4 kayaks for use if you can transport them and two mountain bikes. NBN. Netflix.
Suit people who want to use the Snowy a Mtns for activities like hiking , riding , water sports, exploring or just enjoy a chilled break at 900m in a historic cottage (still being renovated so it is not luxurious just cosy) Very large yard for caravan and parking. Access to power.
Friendly small village with a hotel, a country club, doctor, pharmacy, mini mart, service station, cafe, Physio, Chiro, Anglican and Catholic Churches, swimming pool, winery, close to Dalgety and the Snowy River. Jindabyne has Woolies , an IGA and bars and pubs and restaurants. Cooma has Coles and Woolies and Aldi and restaurants and cafes. Attractions abound. Snowy Hydro museums. Yarramgobilly Caves.
