About this house sitting position in Bridport

Our single-level neat, warm, and sunny home is on acreage 5 minutes from the beautiful seaside town of Bridport, North East Tasmania. Heating is a wood heater that is terrifically warm and very easy to operate.

Bridport is situated in the northeast, one hour from Launceston with lovely scenery and walks. The Blue Derby bike trials are a commutable drive from our house. We are a 5-minute drive to the Barnbougle Dunes and Lost Farm golf courses. There are great wineries you can visit in a day from Bridport.

We have 2 indoor cats, 2 large dogs (Labradors), fish, and 2 low maintenance horses. The horses would require feeding out hay daily. If any issues arise with the horses or dogs and cats I have backup contact very close by.

We have sheep, which would be in a paddock down the back of the property, away from the road. They require minimal attention.

Plenty of room for a caravan with access to water and power if required. Due to our animals, we cannot accommodate sitters with their animals.

Reviews for Alison

“Alison and Scotty were good to deal with. Clear written instructions left for us. All the animals enjoyed our company. We had lots of cuddles all round. The house was clean and cosy warm with the log fire.
Would recommend this sit to anyone.
Was lovely meeting some of the friendly locals. Bridport is a lovely spot to base yourselves to explore.
