House and Pet Sitter Wanted – Brisbane (12 Sept–5 Oct 2025)

We’re looking for a reliable, non-smoking house and pet sitters from the afternoon of 12th September to the early morning of 5th October 2025.
To be a great fit, you’ll need to meet the following requirements:
• Be a non-smoker
• Work from home or be retired (our dog is used to having people around)
• Have no pets of your own (our dog prefers to be the only animal in the house)
• Be able to attend an in-person meet and greet in advance (required)
Provide a police check certificate

We’re a friendly, multi-generational family heading overseas and would love to leave our home and beloved pet in safe hands.

Our home is a spacious, split-level five-bedroom house in a peaceful suburb on Brisbane’s south side. With four levels, it does require someone who is reasonably mobile. We’re close to Westfield Shopping Centre and well-connected by public transport, with a bus route to the city nearby.

The property includes a small front garden and a medium-sized backyard with a lawn that may need an occasional mow. There’s also a swimming pool, though it typically requires minimal upkeep at this time of year.

Our golden retriever will be 19 months old during your stay. He is affectionate, social, and thrives on human interaction. He’ll need at least one walk per day, and there are two excellent off-leash dog parks within 1km of the house.
He sleeps indoors and is very much a part of the family, so we’re looking for someone who’s happy to welcome him as a close companion during their stay.
