DETAILS:
Unpaid House sit - The sit is in a 6 years old spacious, fully air conditioned house in a residential community in Burradoo / Bowral in the Southern Highlands. Approx. 1.5 hours drive to Sydney /2.0 hrs to Canberra / 40 mins to coast. Good train services either direction. The community has an onsite heated pool, gym and library you can use. You will stay in the guest bedroom, queen bed / ensuite bathroom. Built in robe. All linen supplied or you can bring your own if you prefer. House is located in a quiet, safe setting with birdlife and blue tongue visitors to the small low-care garden. The garden is irrigated but it - and my many pots - still need watering, so ideally I prefer a person who knows gardens, as past sits have resulted in plant mortalities! From my home, its a short drive (3 mins) to local Bowral shops - or a very pleasant flat walk of 15 mins if you like or a local bus stops just 2 mins walk away. Bowral is a country town with a city vibe due to its many cafes, restaurants, wineries, shops and access to many beautiful bush walks. There is secure garage parking for your car and frankly - having a car is best to explore the area. Good WiFi, Netflix, Stan available. I prefer that you arrive the night before I depart (or early on the AM of my departure depending on when that is ) - so I can show you everything you need to know before I leave. You should plan on a pre-sit visit or long phone call to run through everything - although I have a pretty good 'instruction' book and very helpful neighbours.
Requires care of one (90% indoor)cat . Luna is a 6 years old Birman. Luna is very standoffish until SHE decides you are OK. She needs feeding, quiet company and playtime. She will tolerate wearing a harness / lead for her garden adventures whilst you enjoy a cuppa. Luna has no health issues but may try to convince you that a bottomless food source is the difference between her starving and living - and she constantly tries to escape so you need to be vigilant with closing doors!
Expected Duties:
Feeding Luna twice day, giving lots of pets and play time. Making sure she does not escape! Luna uses an auto-litter so litter cleaning is only required twice a week.)
Watering my many pots and augmented watering of the garden beds as the main Gardens are irrigated . You do need to be able to tell when watering is required - PLEASE. and
Leaving the house as clean and tidy as you found it!

Requesting:
Solo female sitter ( no males) / age group 35+ is best. A light Social drinker or Non drinker / Non smoker / Non party-animal / NO travellers / NO couples / NO kids / NO own pets please. Please don't try to convince me these things don't matter because they matter to me and to Luna. If you can't tick all of these, this is not the house sit for you as they are not negotiable.
