House & Dog Sit in Beautiful Coburg North – August & September

Are you looking for a peaceful Melbourne house sit with the sweetest pup as a companion?

We're seeking a kind, reliable cis woman, non-binary, TGD person or queer couples to care for our much-loved 11-year-old Labradoodle, Iliya, while we are away. We're looking for someone experienced with dogs who can provide companionship, small daily walks, and lots of affection. Iliya is happiest when she has someone home with her most of the time, so we're hoping to find someone who enjoys a quieter lifestyle and can be around for most of the day. Illiya can be left alone for short periods of time during the day.

Meet Iliya

Iliya is an absolute delight—gentle, affectionate, beautifully trained, and a wonderful friend. She loves cuddles on the couch, walking around the streets and in parks, and simply being close with people. She's easy to care for and will quickly become your friend. Illiya has some limitations with walking and enjoys small short walks mostly.

The House

Our cosy little brick home in Coburg North is warm and inviting in winter, with:

>A beautiful, private backyard
>Garden with lots of greenery
>North-facing deck opening from the kitchen
>Comfortable living spaces in a peaceful neighbourhood

It's a lovely place to relax after a walk with Iliya.

The house is perfectly positioned for enjoying Melbourne's inner north:

>10-minute walk to both Merri Creek and Edgars Creek trails
>10-minute walk to cafés and a supermarket
>5-minute drive to Pentridge shopping precinct and Palace Cinemas
>5-minute drive to Preston Market
>Plenty of parks and green spaces to explore on daily walks

We're Looking For Someone Who Is:

>Experienced and confident caring for dogs
>Able to spend most of the time at home with Iliya (she can be left alone for short periods of time)
>Kind, gentle and reliable
>Clean, tidy and respectful of our home
>A non-smoker
>Happy to enjoy a quiet house sit (no parties please)
> Unfortunately we are not able to accommodate other pets, sorry.
>Queer-friendly
