Welcome to our cozy mountain retreat! Our home offers stunning views of the surrounding wilderness, sweeping valleys and breathtaking views of Mount Faulkner. A short 10 minute drive gets you to Glenorchy where you will find everything from a large mall for shopping, live music, cinemas, restaurants, doctors, and quaint little shops. Elizabeth Street in Hobart where everything happens is a short 20 - 25 minute drive.

We believe that we live in paradise. Surrounded by nature, birds, wildlife, fresh air, and great neighbours, and still close enough to town to enjoy all the modern day conveniences. It’s an ideal escape for nature lovers and those seeking a peaceful setting with forest walks on our doorstep, or close enough to the city to enjoy different types of entertainment.

The house is fully equipped and well-maintained, with plenty of natural light and a comfortable atmosphere.

The spare bedroom has everything you need, including an electric blanket and heater, and the bathroom has a walk-in shower.

The living room/dining room/kitchen area is cozy with a wood-burning fireplace, and a heat pump, large wall mounted TV, modern appliances in the kitchen, and the most amazing views of the mountains.

There is sufficient parking for a motorhome, vehicles or trailer. The house has high speed WiFi throughout.

We are on tank water but I'd bet you that you've not tasted water better than ours.

Frieda is our 2 year old adopted Schipperke (Flemish Barge Dog breed, Schipperke meaning 'little skipper'). She is low maintenance but loves her walks, chasing and catching balls, belly rubs, or sleeping at your feet while you watch TV. She is house-trained, lets herself out to explore the backyard, and not a fussy eater. She will let you know if she feels lonely.
