About this house sitting position in Conondale

We live on a small 4 acre rural property inland from the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. We are located around 20minutes from Maleny, and 5 minutes to the small town of Conondale.

We will be travelling overseas during April and May 2026 and are looking for a responsible couple to look after our property while we are away.

We will need house sitters between 30th of March - 31st of May.

People that like gardening are strongly preferred as our place requires regular upkeep to keep things looking good. Ideally, our house sitters would be a retired or semi-retired couple with plenty of life experience.

Our property has a mix of treed areas, established gardens and lawns, with a small creek running through it. There are flatter areas, some areas with a gentil slope (easy to mow) and some areas where the hill slope is steeper (not so easy to mow). Most of the property can be mowed using a ride-on mower, a couple of areas with the push mower (self propelled) and 1 section where it is best to use the whipper snipper.

We do not have any pets that require care (leaving you free to explore the region!) although we would ask you to feed the native birds that visit often. We are happy if you wish to bring your dog, but no cats please.
