About this house sitting position in Donnybrook

Fancy a getaway in the lovely south west but accommodation is either too expensive or fully booked? Well look no further!

We are seeking somebody reliable to look after our home and our much loved pets while we are away for four nights in September school holidays.

We have four very friendly pets - two small dogs and two cats. Our dog, Ellie is a small terrier cross, Moose the cat is a very smoochy tabby & white short haired, Ruby is a pretty little Ragdoll cat, and our latest addition to the family Max is a gorgeous little jack russell x maltese puppy. They will make you feel very welcome! Ellie enjoys a daily walk at the local golf course, around town, or down by the river (all only minutes away).

Our house is a modern, spacious and very comfortable 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom house with ducted air conditioning throughout. We also have pedestal fans if you prefer to cool down the old fashioned way or a large wood fire for those chilly winter nights. You will have your choice of two guest bedrooms fitted with queen beds and a bathroom complete with bath, shower and separate toilet. We are a non-smoking household.

The open plan living area offers plenty of space, as well as a large undercover alfresco area outside equipped with a dining table and BBQ for outdoor living. There is a theatre room full of DVDs, Netflix and Disney+, a pool table to keep you entertained, as well as access to Wi-Fi. The garden is reticulated out the back, with some pot plants requiring regular hand watering. The front garden is full of hardy drought resistant natives, but will benefit from one watering while we are gone if the weather is warm and dry.

Our house is situated in a lovely new part of Donnybrook town overlooking bushland, and at the end of the street is the Donnybrook country club which is a beautiful walk with the dog. We are a short 10 minute walk from the town center.

Donnybrook is located just 30 minutes drive out of Bunbury, and 2.5 hours south of Perth, WA. It's close to lots of lovely places, including the Ferguson Valley (20 minutes away), Balingup (25 minutes), Busselton (45 minutes), and Margaret River (1.25 hours away).
