About this house sitting position in Donnybrook
Fancy a getaway in the lovely south west over the spring school holidays?
We are seeking somebody reliable to look after our home and our much loved pets while we are away for 10 days in October 2026.
We have four very friendly pets - two small dogs and two cats. Our older dog Ellie is a lovely small terrier cross, Moose the cat is a very smoochy tabby & white short haired, Ruby is a pretty little Ragdoll cat, and our latest addition to the family Max is a friendly little jack russell x maltese dog. They will all make you feel very welcome! Ellie and Max enjoy a short daily walk, and love to play with their toys, people and each other in the back yard.
Our house is a modern, spacious and very comfortable 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom house with ducted air conditioning/heating throughout. There is a big woodfire in the main living area too. You will have your choice of two guest bedrooms fitted with queen beds and a bathroom complete with bath, shower and separate toilet. We are a non-smoking household.
The open plan living area offers plenty of space, as well as a large undercover alfresco area outside equipped with a dining table and BBQ for outdoor living. There is a theatre room full of DVDs, Netflix and Disney+, a pool table to keep you entertained, as well as access to Wi-Fi. The garden is reticulated out the back, with pot plants on the al fresco requiring regular hand watering. The front garden is full of hardy drought resistant natives that does not require maintenance.
Our house is situated in a lovely part of Donnybrook town overlooking bushland, and at the end of the street is the Donnybrook country club which is a beautiful walk to go on with the dogs. We are a short 10 minute walk from the town center.
Donnybrook is located just 30 minutes drive out of Bunbury, and 2.5 hours south of Perth, WA. A range of beautiful beaches are only 30 mins drive away and plenty of beautiful forest walks on your doorstep. It's close to lots of lovely places, including the Ferguson Valley (20 minutes away), Balingup (25 minutes), Busselton (45 minutes), and Margaret River (1.25 hours away).
