About this house sitting position in Echuca

A long term (5 month) house minding position is available in popular Echuca, commencing first week of April and finish approx. mid Sept.
This is a small accommodation business (4 units). I travel 5 months each year and seek a live-in minder/caretaker. Basic duties (approx. 1 hour daily) include recording reservations (email/phone), greeting/farewelling guests and organising cleaning staff. I am contactable 24/7 by either phone or email and there is local support from my casual staff. The garden requires minimal input during winter, although I do also have a VERY friendly resident German Shepherd dog which requires daily walks.
Being a small business, there is the opportunity to earn some income if prepared to assist cleaning and running a weekend photo studio. The successful applicant would receive an intensive training period, supported by a comprehensive operating manual.
The property is centrally located, within walking distance to the river, historic port and town centre. It adjoins state forest which can be viewed from the glass enclosed balcony enjoying the morning and winter sun.
The position would suit a retired couple (although not exclusive) with the day free to do as please. The town has excellent facilities-sport, culturing, dining, shopping etc.
Applicants must have 3 references, police clearance, prepared to attend an interview and if successful, a week training period during April.
