About this house sitting position in Empire Bay

Hello house sitters, my husband and I are looking to holiday in Connecticut USA for 4 weeks from July 2026 to AUgust 2026, to be close to our grandchildren. We are owners of a beautiful 7 year old dog - cross cattle dog/kelpie (yes very active!) who also needs caring for whilst we are away.
Our home is located in a quiet suburban street 12 minutes from Killcare Beach and the Bouddi National Park. It is a beautiful part of the world and our little village sits on Brisbane Water at the end of a ferry run from Woy Woy.
Our house contains 2 bedrooms and 2 offices with a large bathroom and separate toilet, a large rear deck, garden and gorgeous plunge pool out the back.
We would like to invite interested people to live in and care for our dog, (feeding, walking, cuddles) put out the garbage bins, some garden and lawn watering and keep the house relatively tidy. Our dog is an inside/outside dog who sleeps in our room . We run our design business from home and our office manager will be working 1-2 days per week from our house during a few weeks of this period. Her work will be contained to one front office and bathroom/kitchen use for fridge access and coffee making.
We will have a separate house cleaner each month so cleaning is to a minimum.
The house is very comfortable and the district is great with beautiful beaches and national parks to explore. Read more...
